Sensor placement is important for great radiographs. A good sequence for minimal working time and motion is easily established by following these simple guidelines. Place sensor in sensor cover and position for the UR view. After molar/ bicuspid shots are taken, rotate entire instrument for LL molar/bicuspid views. Remove sensor and reposition for UL posterior molar/bicuspid views. Rotate entire instrument for LR molar/bicuspid views. Slide sensor to middle position for bitewing views on both sides of the mouth. Remove sensor and position on anterior side of ClikRay™ holder to take both upper and lower anterior views. No more than 4 repositions are needed to take an entire set of radiographs. To accommodate thicker sensors, the retention arms on either side may be bent outward for a less snug sensor fit
UR Posterior position, rotate for
LL Posterior positioning
UL Posterior Position, rotate for
LR Posterior positioning
Anterior Upper position, rotate for Anterior Lower position
Using the ClikGuide™ “G” Cone Guide Ring & Rod
Upper Anterior with ring in mid-position
Push the square guide pin out with thumb to reposition for either anterior or posterior sides
Lower anterior with ring in mid-position
The ClikGuide™ ring cliks into 3 positions– upper, middle / bitewing , and lower. The assembly can be used with either anterior or posterior( bite plane ) sides of the ClikRay™. The ring ALWAYS faces the closed back plane of the ClikRay™ holder. For use with opposite intraoral side, turn the entire instrument assembly over
The ClikGuide™ ring in middle/bitewing position
Clik the ring to Lower Right Posterior position, rotate entire instrument for Upper Left position
